The Enfield & The Barnet UNA is constantly planning new activities and projects and we would welcome your participation in this. There are a number of activities that might interst you and that you might like to take part in

Live Debates

We not only question our MPs online and start web based dsicussion but we also invite out MPs to join us in realtime discussions and debates. We plane to hold one this Autumn with David Burrowes MP on Human Rights and we will be inviting Andy Love to discuss with us the critical situation in the Middle East.

Election Hustings

Both in the last General Election and in the recent local ones we held several political hustings or open evegnings where political candidates could debate a wide range of issues and be questioned by members of the public. These have turned out to be well attended and popular.

Group Discussions

We hold specific discussions from time to time on human rights, conflict and security and development and these discussion often result in a question being sent to our MPs that are then posted on our Website and our Blog. These discussion are open to both members and supporters of the UNA.

Coffee Culture

To help develop our ideas, plan on a regular basis and just discuss important issues, we meet every 2nd and 4th Friday at Coffee Cuture in Palmers Green at 11.00am. If you would like to join us then we would be very pleased to see you there. The sessions are very informal and is a good way to air ideas in an open and friendly way.
