Since the invasion of Lebanon by the Israelis, the growing turmoil
in Iraq,
the American Congressional Elections that has made George Bush
begin to
reassess his failed policy in Iraq, there is now the need to reassess
our
whole strategy towards global issues and the Middle East in particular.
Also the recent statement of M15 Chief Dame Eliza Manningham-Buller
that
"British Muslims have been driven towards extremism and terrorist
acts
because of the UK's part in the invasion of Iraq and Afghanistan,
" means
that those intimately involved in security matters are now doing
what the
Prime Minister has consistently denied and admitting a link between
British
Foreign Policy and domestic security.
We invite you to join these two MPs to discuss this issue and
to express any
concerns we may have on the direction of British Foreign Policy
and its
impact on social cohesion at home.
